Has Flaps made any more improvements?
* { definitely! he’s got his head upstairs again, but he seems calm and amicable. i’m not going to test him myself, though – like i’ve said, he’s afraid of me, i don’t want to chance ruining this. }

[ * That attack seems to do the trick, Pathos’ skull being mushed into a slurry of dust and green ichor. After their host goes, so do the butterflies, popping and exploding that same ichor. ]
[ * Left behind is a blackened SOUL, it shuddering violently before disappearing with a loud POP. ]

📝 [The ichor is quickly vanished, as if it had never happened – and Flaps is subsequently knocked out, presumably to be woken later on with very little recollection of the incident. For a little while, at least.]

You and Flaps still have lots of pets, don’t you? Are they doing all right amidst all this nonsense? I’m surprised that you’re able to still care for them on top of everything else…
* { not as many as we used to. a lot of them belonged to other people who have since left – but we do make sure to keep on with taking good care of them. }

It seems things are finally looking up for you and Flaps! I’m so happy for you two! Maybe things can finally be peaceful again…I just hope Pathos doesn’t come to bother you two again. I’m guessing you and Flaps won’t want him anywhere near here, huh?

[ * He doesn’t have much mobility outside of his own hands holding this reforming body up, and most of his concentration’s going towards the ones lodged in Flaps’ jaw bones. It’s pretty safe to say that he’s swept up in the lunge. ]
[ * But, ah, now you have those butterflies to contend with, and they’re starting to swarm him. The bone making up his face is where they decide to light, followed by a faint scratching sound. What is it they’re trying to do..? ]

📝 [Flaps doesn’t seem to be too focused on this swarm – he instead is Wholly Intent on crushing Pathos’ skull and any of that reforming body that he can. He’ll deal with the pest problem after – he’s gotten aware enough to be able to piece together that Hey, This Guy Started This, therefore, he dies first.]
📝 [MAYBE that’s a little too much. BUT! He sure is ripping at Pathos at this point. No mercy.]
