Basically what happened was that runi and flaps were making to break themselves off from the voidspace – which is something they’ve been trying to set in motion for a long time now

but once that happened it kinda had the effect of letting runi access the entire void? and at the same time they didn’t have the same connection with flaps anymore

so it both scared the shit out of them because being that connected to Flaps has been a longstanding constant, AND it sent them into a realization of “holy shit I can keep Everyone Safe Now”

their idea of keeping everyone safe was to freeze anyone in a voidspace Completely in place, save for like their hands so they could text and all. This was a very unpopular decision 😛

The whole thing lasted about a week, and after they got talked down and had that voidwide power taken from them they went around to apologize to people personally. flaps and proph do Not know about this yet, nor do they know that runi asked Punishment from almost every person they apologized to

The only person that really took them up on it was geist @archaicgeists who slapped a curse on them, literally, so now they have a glowy purple handprint permanently on their projections that they’re taking to hiding with various shirts and hoodies

I think that works fine for a basic rundown of what happened? it was a wild week and things have more or less chilled out now but there’s still a bit of tension between them and the people they affected )

( aaand done! cleaned up some in the first homeworld, did two levels in the second one. if im able to ill stream a little tomorrow, but i have a lot of packing to do – and next week i wont be able to at all, but! ill try to get flaps a little more active )
